ADMISSION FOR THE YEAR 2018 -2019 STARTED CLASSES LKG TO IX AND STD XI
Instructions To The Students Taking Board Examination

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS TAKING BOARD EXAMINATION- 2011-2012

  1. Students are expected to reach Carmel school at 06. 45 a.m and report the concerned teachers from our school.
  2. Students shall adhere strictly to the school uniform on all the examination days failing which the centre authorities may object the entry to examination hall on this ground.
  3.  It is the duty of the parents to check the bag of their ward on each examination days before sending him/ her and to ensure that the hall ticket is kept properly. In the absence of hall ticket / admit cards, the student may be rejected by the concerned authorities to write the examination.
  4. Keep the timetable handy and prepare for the right subject. All the stationeries required to attempt the paper like pens, pencils, geometry box, eraser etc. shall be kept ready a day ahead. Students are not permitted to borrow anything from their schoolmates in the examination hall. It is advised that children use the same materials with which they have been practicing already. Do not try out fresh pens and pencils in exam.
  5. No student shall take any slips or written materials to practice unfair means in the examination. Doing that would not only degrade and humiliate him/her but also would bring a bad name to the institution where he/she studies. One shall refrain from the use of malpractices. A student found indulged in any such activity is declared fail and can be reprimanded by not permitting to attempt the same examination for the next three years as per the CBSE rule. So caution is better than repentance.
  6. It is better if you plan your study schedule in such a way that you get enough sleep before the examination. Our brain can take only certain amount of strain at a time and banking upon last minute study for a paper would reflect badly.
  7. Keep a check on your diet during examination days as neither you can afford to fall sick due to improper diet nor can become lazy due to over eating. Take regular but light food throughout the days of examination. Remember, missing one paper would mean missing one year.

9.     Never take too many books or bulky notes to revise at the centre or on the way. Very condensed and important synopsis shall be kept for the last minute study. Do not get disturbed or anxious if you come across new questions or matter at the last minute, keep patience and calm.

10.  The answer books would be distributed to the students between 07.30 am to 07.45 am during which the student should write the particulars and it shall be checked and signed by the Asst. Supdt. The question paper will be distributed at 07.45 am. Students should read the question paper between 07.45 am and 08.00 am and plan proper strategy to write the answers. At  08.00 am, students will start writing the answers.

  1. Start attempting the questions without wasting time. Attempt those questions first which you know very well so that the examiner may start with a good impression. Do not over spend your time on the questions you know very well. You shall devote 1½ minutes and sometimes 2 minutes per mark. Keep a watch on time. If you attempt 50% of the questions very well and leave the rest due to lack of time, you would be a loser, so justify the division of your time and try not to miss out a question. If you are stuck up on a particular question, leave space required to answer the full question and switch over to the next. You will surely get the answer for that question while answering the other questions. Do not forget to underline the main points. This will fetch you more marks.
  2. Do not forget to number the continuation sheets you have used and mention their total number on the front page of the answer script. Keep up your confidence and have faith in yourself. When your goals are set, your preparations are in full swing and you are determined, there is nothing, which can deter you in this world and the outcome will surely be marvellous.
