Children’s Day Celebration

"We were all children once. And we all share the desire for the well being of our children, which has always been and will continue to be the most universally cherished aspiration of humankind."

A day marking childhood, Children’s Day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. Schools and educational institutions mark the occasion as a grand fiesta. In the Lower Primary wing, Indian Central School Children’s Day is commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence every year. Various activities and events are specially organized for this day. Teachers organize different programmes and events for the students.  This year Children participated in a handful of activities such as drawing, colouring, making birthday cards etc. The best part of the Children’s Day this year was that the   students did not wear their regular uniforms to school. Instead, they put on colourful and their best dresses. They were treated with sweets. The whole assembly was organised and carried out by  teachers  who disguised themselves as children and presented programmes likes  skit, dance, power point presentation, a theme based dance & drama programme named celebrating childhood etc for their beloved students .

The supervisor of the wing Mrs. Amarjeet Kaur  who herself played the role of Pandit Nehru ,thanked the teachers  for organizing the activities .She also thanked our dear Principal,Mrs Shantha Maria James for her continuous encouragement and guidance. The excitement and enjoyment of the students made every teacher of the wing glorify.
